Susana Viseu is a Senior Advisor at IAPMEI – the Portuguese Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation, where she plays a key role in the implementation of public policies supporting entrepreneurship and talent attraction. She holds a Degree in International Relations and a Master’s Degree in Public-Private Administration, combining solid academic training with extensive professional experience.
She is currently manager of the Startup Visa and Tech Visa programmes, which aim to attract innovative entrepreneurs and highly qualified professionals to Portugal. In this capacity, she works closely with startups, incubators, and public entities to ensure the effective implementation of national strategies for talent attraction and international positioning of the Portuguese innovation ecosystem.
With extensive experience in Migration Law, she has contributed to the development of regulatory frameworks and operational tools that facilitate the entry and integration of foreign entrepreneurs, ensuring legal robustness and administrative efficiency. Her work reflects a strong commitment to promoting Portugal as an open, dynamic, and competitive destination for global innovation and investment.
