We invite students currently enrolled in Doctorate or Masters programms to participate in the Students Track – a space for practicing communicating your ideas, connecting with other students, and receiving valuable feedback from the senior members of the DPH community. To participate, the students can either submit an extended abstract about their work, or if they are already planning on submitting a full paper, they can indicate in the submission form that they would like to participate in the Students Track. The abstracts could contain work in progress reports, thesis / project proposals and early research concepts.

Submission Guidelines
Author Information
When completing the Author Information section in EasyChair, please provide a valid institutional email address and full institutional affiliation (including the institution/organisation and country) for each author. These fields are mandatory and must not be left blank or entered as “N/A”.
- Please format your submission using Times New Roman, 12 pt font size, with justified alignment. The submission must not exceed 1000 words, excluding the reference list. References are compulsory and should be included in the submission. A maximum of two figures or tables may be included.
- Extended Abstracts could follow the standard structure: Introduction, Background, Methods / Datasets, Results, and Conclusion. Alternatively, computer science abstracts can follow a freer headings structure.
- All submissions must be submitted in PDF format using the Easychair submission system (see link below).
- Paste your first section (Overview/ Aims/ Introduction) to the Abstract field in the Easychair system for ease of processing and review allocation.
- Students in more advanced and mature stages of their research projects are invited to submit to the Main Track and also benefit from the opportunity to present their work in the PhD/MSc Student track (Day 0 of the conference) to practise their talk and receive mentoring advice prior to their potential presentation in the Main Track. Please tick the box to express your interest to be included in the PhD/MSc Student Track when submitting your Main Track paper.
Please note that:
- Accepted Extended Abstracts will have to incorporate reviewers’ comments and re-submit their abstract by the Camera-ready deadline. Instructions will be provided.
- The submissions will be reviewed by two reviewers from the PC and SPC committee.
- At least one author of an accepted contribution must register for the conference and attend in person to present their work in order for their paper to appear in the programme and be published in the proceedings.
- The use of Generative AI tools is permissible but must be disclosed and the Scientific Committee reserves the right to exclude any abstract that is generated solely by AI tools.
Publication Opportunity
Accepted Abstracts that are presented at the conference will be included in the DPH 2027 Abstract Book, published in Frontiers in Digital Public Health.
