Sıla Gürbüz is a final-year medical student at Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine in Turkiye and a passionate young health advocate. She is particularly interested in how youth can help shape future health systems in response to emerging challenges like digital transformation, planetary health, and the commercial determinants of health.
She has represented medical students and young people from Europe at high-level platforms, including the World Health Organization , European Parliament and UNFCCC. In a previous role at the Standing Committee of European Doctors (CPME) in Brussels, she contributed to policy discussions on the European Health Data Space and digital transformation in healthcare. She also uses social media to promote digital health literacy and inspire youth participation in health systems.
