Kathleen Guan is a PhD researcher specializing in youth engagement in digital health, especially participatory design of artificial intelligence for personalized health interventions. She holds a Master of Research in Developmental Neuroscience and Psychopathology from University College London with thesis work at Yale School of Medicine. Her previous experience includes research at Johns Hopkins’ Centre for Public Health and Human Rights, communications training at the WHO Americas office, and consulting on patient experience research for digital health startups in North America and Europe. Kathleen is also active in WHO Europe’s Youth4Health network, promoting youth engagement in digital health policy.
