Emiliano Albanese is an MD with and MPH from the LSHTM and a medical specialization in public health. He is the Director of the Institute of Public Health (IPH) in the Faculty of Medicine of the Università della Svizzera Italiana, and director of the WHO Collaborating Center for mental health research and training in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Geneva.
Emiliano has a long experience in public health and epidemiological research, and in pre- and pos-grad teaching in medical schools. He is now keen to design, develop and implement an ASPHER fully compliant new pre-grad Master program in public health integrating foundational and digital public health competencies and skills, and innovative pedagogical methods.
