Ana Rita Pinto holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and has 16 years of experience in academic research. Her work spans a broad range of areas, including regenerative medicine and pancreatic cancer research, with a strong track record of developing innovative products through collaboration with key stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem.
She also has extensive expertise in securing funding and writing project proposals. As a professional consultant, she has supported SMEs in European Projects, particularly in navigating advanced health technology applications within the EIC Accelerator.
Currently, she acts as a Delegate and National Contact Point for the Health sector within the European Commission’s Horizon Europe and Digital Europe Program at the Agency for Clinical Investigation and Biomedical Innovation.
