Kathleen Guan is a multidisciplinary researcher focused on digital behavioral health and global community engagement. Her current PhD research explores how to meaningfully involve young people in co-designing personalized AI and emerging technologies, including adaptive mobile apps, LLMs, neurotechnology, and social media, using participatory implementation approaches for prevention and precision health. Kathleen founded and chairs the Digital Health and AI special interest group within WHO Europe’s Youth4Health network, advancing implementation research and youth advocacy in digital health. She previously studied human rights and developmental neuroscience and worked in public health communications and digital innovation.
