Dr. Aisha Aldosery is a researcher at the Space Technologies Institute, King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), Saudi Arabia. She holds a PhD from University College London, where she led the design and deployment of innovative IoT-based environmental monitoring systems to support mosquito surveillance in Brazil and Madeira Island, Portugal. Her research integrates low-cost sensor networks, mobile systems, and AI-driven analytics, with a strong focus on real-world deployment challenges and smart public health infrastructure.

As a woman in STEM with hands-on experience in both field implementation and system architecture, Dr. Aldosery brings a unique perspective to the intersection of technology, health, and the environment. She is particularly passionate about scalable, context-aware IoT solutions and is currently exploring their adaptation to Saudi Arabia’s climate and disease ecology. Her work is also expanding into the use of space technologies for environmental monitoring and industrial applications, including gas and energy systems.
