Workshops with Call for Papers (CFP)
Step 1. Submit workshop webpage and Call for Papers information by 6 November 2026
Please send both sets of information as PDF files to support@dphconf.org by this deadline:
- Workshop webpage information: All the information needed to present your workshop on the DPH2027 website, including its title, mission and objectives, intended audience, expected outcomes, format and schedule, speaker details (100-word biography and photograph), and any other relevant information.

The information will be used to publish your workshop webpage and Call for Papers, open the corresponding EasyChair submission track and promote the opportunity.
Note: The DPH Chairs reserve the right to determine the session duration (45 minutes, 90 minutes, half-day or full-day) to best align with the conference programme and overall schedule.
Step 2. Promote your Call for Papers
As session organisers, you are primarily responsible for circulating your Call for Papers and attracting submissions. Please share it through your professional networks, relevant mailing lists and other channels. The DPH2027 team can support you by amplifying the call through the conference’s social media channels. The submission deadline for authors responding to your CFP is 23 December 2026!
Step 3. Confirm your core organising team and complete initial registrations by 24 November 2026
Ensure that at least two organisers/ core contributors are registered for DPH2027 by the given deadline. This deadline is intended to establish an early commitment from the people responsible for organising and delivering each session. Please check the DPH2027 website for registration updates and ensure that your initial organising team completes registration once it opens.
Additional oral presenters selected through your Call for Papers, as well as speakers invited at a later stage, are not required to register by this initial deadline. They should register once their participation has been confirmed. Once registered, their details can be added to the session webpage. Please ensure that either you or the speaker provides their name, affiliation, a 100-word biography and a photograph so that we can update the webpage accordingly.
Step 4. Manage and review submissions and notify selected authors by 28 January 2027
All workshop submissions must be collected through the conference’s official submission platform, EasyChair, to ensure a consistent and transparent peer-review process.
As workshop organisers, you are responsible for coordinating the review process, selecting reviewers and communicating decisions to applicants. For workshop submissions to be eligible for inclusion in the official conference proceedings, they must undergo peer review by the following minimum number of Programme Committee (PC) members:
- IEEE proceedings: At least two PC members and one Senior Programme Committee (SPC) member. The Workshop Chair(s) may fulfil the SPC role.
- Frontiers proceedings: At least one PC member and one SPC member. The Workshop Chair(s) may fulfil the SPC role.
PC members should hold at least a PhD or equivalent doctoral-level qualification, while SPC members should be mid-career or senior academics, typically at Professor level. For industry professionals or individuals with portfolio careers, senior experts with relevant experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to approval by the DPH Chair.
If you are not familiar with EasyChair, guidance and instructions on using the platform will be provided. We may also organise a dedicated training session to walk workshop organisers through the submission management and review process.
Please ensure that reviewers are recruited and the review process is completed in time for all applicants to be notified of the outcome by 28 January 2027. A notification template will be provided for you to use when communicating outcomes to applicants.
The DPH 2027 contributions are expected to be published in two separate proceedings (currently in negotiation):
- Accepted Full papers that are presented at the conference will be submitted for possible inclusion into IEEE Xplore DPH 2027 Proceedings.
- Accepted Extended Abstracts that are presented at the conference will be included in the DPH 2027 Abstract Book, published in Frontiers in Digital Public Health.
Step 5. Prepare your session for DPH2027
Continue coordinating with your speakers and contributors, finalise the session content and make sure everyone is aware of the conference arrangements.
All sessions will take place in person in London.
If a speaker, an author or an organiser withdraws, you must inform the conference team as soon as possible. Organisers are expected to make reasonable efforts to secure an appropriate replacement and ensure that the session remains viable.
Workshops (without CFP), tutorials and panels
Step 1. Confirm your core organising team and complete initial registrations by 24 November 2026
Confirm the organisers and core contributors who will be responsible for planning and delivering your session.
Please note the minimum registration requirements:
- Tutorials: At least one registered organiser. While tutorials may be delivered by a single lead, we strongly encourage organisers to appoint a co-lead to ensure continuity and provide additional support if needed.
- Workshops: At least two registered organisers/ core contributors.
- Panels: At least two registered organisers/ panel speakers.
Ensure that the minimum number of people required for your session type have registered for DPH2027 by the specified deadline of 24 November 2026. This deadline is intended to establish an early commitment from the people responsible for organising and delivering each session. Please check the DPH2027 website for registration updates and ensure that your initial organising team completes registration once it opens.
Additional speakers, experts and contributors recruited or invited at a later stage are not required to register by this initial deadline. They should register once their participation has been confirmed. Once registered, their details can be added to the session webpage. Please ensure that either you or the individual concerned provides their name, affiliation, a 100-word biography and a photograph so that we can update the webpage accordingly.
Only sessions that have met the applicable registration requirements and are confirmed to proceed will be published on the conference website.
Step 2. Submit your session information by 25 November 2026
Please provide all the information needed to present your workshop on the DPH2027 website.
This should include:
- Workshop title and description: A clear overview of the session, its mission and objectives.
- Intended audience and expected outcomes: Who the workshop is aimed at and what participants can expect to gain.
- Format and programme: Session structure, activities, schedule and duration. Provisional agenda is sufficient for this stage.

Step 3. Prepare your session for DPH2027
Continue coordinating with your speakers and contributors, finalise the session content and make sure everyone is aware of the conference arrangements.
All sessions will take place in person in London.
If a speaker, panellist or an organiser withdraws, you must inform the conference team as soon as possible. Organisers are expected to make reasonable efforts to secure an appropriate replacement and ensure that the session remains viable.
Organiser responsibility
The lead organiser is responsible for coordinating the session from acceptance through to delivery at DPH2027.
This includes meeting the applicable deadlines, securing the initial organising team, confirming additional contributors, coordinating registrations and ensuring that the session can run as proposed.
Acceptance alone does not guarantee inclusion in the final programme. Sessions that fail to meet the applicable registration requirements, miss mandatory deadlines or cannot secure the contributors needed for delivery may be reconsidered, amended or withdrawn from the programme.
If you anticipate any difficulties meeting a deadline or securing contributors, please contact the DPH2027 organising team as early as possible. Early communication gives us the best opportunity to identify a workable solution.
