New for DPH2027
The Fast Track is an early submission route for Early Career Researchers (ECRs) and researchers from low- or middle-income countries (LMICs) to support their applications for travel grants, bursaries and studentships that are due before the official DPH 2027 notification date of 28 January 2027. It provides an early pre-acceptance decision to support advance planning for conference participation.
Fast Track submissions will be considered ahead of the standard submission deadlines, allowing eligible researchers to receive an early indication of whether their proposed contribution is suitable for pre-acceptance.
Please note that Fast Track pre-acceptance is not a final conference acceptance and does not replace the standard submission and peer-review process.
- If your Fast Track submission is pre-accepted, you must still submit your research through the appropriate standard submission Track, following its specific deadline and submission requirements. Your standard submission will undergo the full peer-review process and will be subject to the final acceptance decision. Reviewer feedback will be provided as part of the standard review process, allowing authors to further develop and improve their work for the camera-ready version.
- If your Fast Track submission is not pre-accepted, you are still welcome to submit your research through any other suitable conference track, provided you meet the relevant submission deadline and requirements.
Fast Track does not provide any funding or fee waivers for conference participation. However, we have identified a number of grant and funding opportunities that may support eligible researchers. These opportunities are listed here to help researchers explore potential sources of funding. Where relevant, a Fast Track pre-acceptance may be used to support a funding or grant application.
If fee waivers or other forms of financial support become available for DPH2027 participants, these will be announced separately at a later stage.

Submission Guidelines
- Please format your submission using Times New Roman, 12 pt font size, with justified alignment.
- The total length should not exceed 1000 words and you may include a maximum of two figures or tables.
- The submission should be structured using the following sections: Introduction, Background, Methods / Datasets, Results, and Conclusion.
- Abstracts must be uploaded in PDF format via EasyChair.
- Abstracts must be submitted in English.
Please note that:
- Fast Track is available only to Early Career Researchers (ECRs) and researchers from low- or middle-income countries (LMICs).
- Fast Track provides a pre-acceptance decision to support eligible researchers in seeking travel grants in advance. This is not a final acceptance to the conference. Authors who receive Fast Track pre-acceptance must still submit their work through the standard submission process and undergo the usual peer-review process before a final acceptance decision is made.
- At least one author of an accepted contribution must register for the conference and attend in person to present their work in order for their paper to appear in the programme and be published in the proceedings.
- The use of Generative AI tools is permissible but must be disclosed. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to exclude any submission that is generated solely by AI tools.
Process: From Fast Track to Final Submission
1. Fast Track submission
Submit your research abstract by 30 September 2026.
2. Notification – Pre-acceptance decision
Fast Track outcomes will be communicated by 7 October 2026, providing eligible researchers with an early pre-acceptance indication to support grant applications and advance planning. Please note that Fast Track pre-acceptance is not a final conference acceptance and authors must still complete the standard submission process and undergo peer review.
3. Standard submission
Regardless of the Fast Track outcome, authors must choose the most appropriate submission track for their work and submit it through the standard submission process, following the specific deadline and submission requirements for that track. Fast Track pre-acceptance does not replace or complete the standard submission and peer-review process:

4. Peer review and final decision
Authors will receive reviewer feedback and the final decision regarding acceptance for DPH2027 by 28 January 2027.
5. Camera-ready submission
Submit the final revised version by the camera-ready deadline of 7 April 2027 if you want your research to be included in the DPH2027 proceedings.
