Call for Innovation Award

Building on the success of the DPH2025 Innovation Award held in Madeira, the DPH2026 Innovation Award continues to celebrate excellence, creativity, and impact in digital public health – from pioneering cross-sector collaborations and groundbreaking technologies to innovative uses of big data and digital systems.

We invite submissions across the following Award categories.

Award Categories

  • BEST PARTNERSHIP – How your innovation involved successful partnership and collaboration for mutual benefit.
  • BEST AI INNOVATION – How your innovation used data in a way that’s innovative and unique.
  • BEST SCALE-UP – How your innovation has demonstrated scale-up success, moving from start-up to growth.
  • BEST ENGINEERING INNOVATION – How your innovation leverages emerging engineering technologies such as smart sensors, IoT, sensing and quantum technologies to advance digital public health.

All submissions must showcase their product or service, clearly highlighting what makes it innovative and unique, and demonstrate how it creates meaningful value and positive impact for people and/or patients. This is your opportunity to show how your innovation is driving the future of digital public health.

Eligibility

Entries are open to SMEs, charities, health delivery organisations startups, and research projects, so long as they present an innovation in digital health. We welcome entries from a diverse array of organisations, within these fields.

Process

500 word submissions can be made online through EasyChair.

  • Login or create an account
  • Select ‘new submission’
  • Select ‘DPH 2026 Innovation Award’ track
  • All submissions must be made online. Submissions sent by email are not accepted.

Please note:

  • Submission is free – however you will have to purchase a ticket to attend the DPH2026 conference.
  • Shortlisted teams will be invited to present a 5 to 10-minute pitch of their digital health product or service, to a panel of judges from across the digital public health sector. Judges will score teams on a range of criteria including novelty.
  • Details on where the awards will be presented will be shared soon.

Winners will receive a certificate of recognition and gain visibility through DPH2026 website and social media features, celebrating their innovative work.
