Rodrigo Ortega-Izquierdo is a Senior Data Research Consultant at PredictBy, where he works at the intersection of data science and public policy. His areas of expertise include the social dimensions of digital technology, predictive modelling and machine learning for social science applications, and the EU regulatory landscape for AI and data spaces, with a particular focus on algorithmic fairness and data governance. He is actively engaged in the implementation of the European Health Data Space, working with EU and national actors.

Rodrigo holds a Bachelor’s in Physics from the Autonomous University of Madrid and a European Master’s in Society, Science and Technology from Maastricht University, with a specialisation in digital technology and society at the National Kapodistrian University of Athens. Prior to joining PredictBy, he contributed to the Einstein Telescope Preparatory Phase at the Institute of High Energy Physics in Barcelona, where he worked on innovation strategy.
