Degree in Medicine and master’s in public health. Specialist in Preventive Medicine and Public Health. He has worked for the Public Health System in various areas of knowledge. First as a researcher at the Carlos III Health Institute of Madrid and then at the Territorial Management of Central Catalonia as head of the Research Support Unit and head of the Technical Area of management support.
In 2020, he joined the Department of Health as Director of the Response Unit to the COVID19. Currently, he is Deputy General Director of Surveillance and Response to Public Health Emergencies at the Public Health Agency of Catalonia
