Hugo Monteiro, MD, MPH, is a Medical Doctor with advanced training in Health Management and a PhD candidate in Health Data Science at the HEADS program (FMUP). He works for the Portuguese Ministry of Health and has extensive experience in developing national digital health platforms for the collection and transformation of health data. Hugo has published in epidemiology, clinical research, and digital health, and serves as a WHO consultant for the ERIMS assessment tool. He also lectures on digital health tools, including business intelligence tools, with a focus on applications in public health and healthcare service delivery.
