We invite researchers, practitioners, and innovators to submit their latest work to the Digital Public Health Conference, a leading forum for exploring how digital technologies and big data transform public health. Submissions may include novel methodologies, real-world applications, case studies, policy insights, and ethical considerations.
DPH 2026 themes
The themes include but are not restricted to:
- Disease Surveillance, Early Warning and Pandemic Preparedness
- Artificial Intelligence in Public Health
- Digital Technology for Training and Behaviour Change
- Emerging Technology and Public Health
- Digital Systems and Public Health Data Governance
- Public Health Challenges
See Call for Papers and Prizes for a full list.
Submission Guidelines
We are in the process of negotiating two publication options for the Main track:
- Full papers will be submitted for possible inclusion into IEEE Xplore DPH 2026 Proceedings (4- 8 pages total, including references and any appendices, using the IEEE template: https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html).
- Extended Abstracts will be published by Frontiers Digital Public Health journal, DPH 2026 Abstract Book (up to 1000 words)
Main Track submissions will be reviewed by three reviewers from the PC and SPC committees and assessed in terms of their quality, relevance to the conference, originality, significance, correctness, and clarity.
Instructions for students submitting to the Main Track
In addition to submissions to the dedicated PhD/MSc Student Track, students are warmly encouraged to participate in the Main Track. Please:
- Indicate your student status (MSc, PhD, or other) by ticking the relevant box on the submission form to be considered for the Best Student Award.
- If your work is accepted to the MainTrack, you can opt in the PhD/MSc Student Track (by emailing us at support@dphconf.org) even if you have not submitted to the PhD/MSc Track (Day 0), to practice your presentation in a supportive environment, receive mentoring and feedback from peers and experts, and further refine your talk prior to presenting in the Main Conference.
- If your work is conceptual, exploratory, or at an early research stage, we recommend submitting it to the PhD/MSc Student Track and/or the Posters & Demos Track instead.
Publication Instructions
The DPH 2026 contributions are expected to be published in two separate proceedings (currently in negotiation):

- Please paste your Abstract in the Abstract field in the Easychair system for ease of processing and review allocation.
Note that:

- Accepted papers will need to incorporate reviewers’ comments and re-submit their paper by the Camera Ready deadline. Instructions will be provided.
- Papers accepted for publication must have at least one author registered and must be presented in person at the conference in order to be published by IEEE. Papers from no-show authors will be removed from the proceedings.
- An accepted paper may be selected for either oral or poster presentation depending on review score and topic specificity.
Extended Abstracts
Extended abstracts will be published in the Abstract Book in the Frontiers Digital Public Health Journal (currently under negotiation):
- Please format your submission using Times New Roman, 12 pt font size, and Justified alignment. The total length should not exceed 1000 words, and you may include a maximum of two figures or tables.
- Extended Abstracts could follow the standard structure: Aims/Abstract/Overview, Background, Methods, Results and Conclusions. Alternatively, computer science abstracts can follow a freer headings structure.
- You will indicate the word count in a field in Easychair.
- All submissions must be submitted in PDF format using the Easychair submission system.
- Paste your first section (Aims/Abstract/Overview) to the Abstract field in the Easychair system for ease of processing and review allocation.

- Abstracts accepted for publication must have at least one author registered and must be presented in person at the conference in order to be published by Frontiers. Papers from no-show authors will be removed from the proceedings.
- Accepted submissions may be selected for either oral or poster presentation depending on review score and topic specificity.
The use of Generative AI tools is permissible but must be disclosed and the Scientific Committee reserves the right to exclude any abstract that is generated solely by AI tools.
