Outline: This pilot project of Madeira Quality Care, in partnership with MEO, aims to integrate smartwatches into the provision of home care for elderly individuals. Through wearable technology, the devices collect real-time data such as heart rate, activity levels, location, and sleep patterns, enabling continuous and personalized monitoring by healthcare professionals. The main objective is to enhance safety, promote the autonomy of users, and act preventively in risky situations, reducing avoidable hospitalizations. This pilot represents an innovative step in the digital transformation of healthcare in the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
