Associação Comercial e Industrial do Funchal – Câmara de Comércio e Indústria da Madeira (Commercial and Industrial Association of Funchal – Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Madeira), founded in 1836, is a non-profit private organization that promotes economic development, business innovation, and sustainable growth in Madeira. It has about 800 members, mostly SMEs, across all sectors.
ACIF-CCIM offers a wide range of services: business support, training, company missions, fairs, conferences, events, and representation of members’ interests at national and international levels.
ACIF-CCIM has implemented numerous initiatives to boost local businesses and attract new opportunities to Madeira, an outermost and insular region. These initiatives include projects and training for companies, co-financed by programmes such as EEA Grants, Interreg MAC, Interreg Atlantic, Erasmus+, Horizon 2020, COSME, and Structural Funds (ESF and ERDF).
ACIF-CCIM has been a partner of the Enterprise Europe Network since 2008.
